Our gear can seem burdensome as it feels like a ball and chain at times - however, those times where we were able to rip out our rain suits, put on clean dry socks, or snack on an energy bar - make carrying our gear all the worthwhile. Appealing to the sport bike audience - the Jumbo Sport Tail Bag has the look and feel of a sport bike luggage bag - avoiding the boxy look of some motorcycle luggage. The shape is slick and the bag comes in several color schemes: Red/Black, Yellow/Black, Silver/Black, Blue/Black, all Black

The Jumbo Sport Tail Bag has the word Jumbo in it's name for a reason. The bag has a capacity of 40 liters (Dimensions: 11" W x 14.5" L x 10" H) which can easily fit a full face helmet inside with room to spare. There are also four expandable pockets that surround the outside of the bag that close via zippers for added storage.

A rain cover ensures that the bag remains nice and dry that has a Velcro® closure.

A carrying handle makes the bag easy to grab. There are also D-rings on the bag that can be used to attach an optional shoulder strap.

The Jumbo Sport Tail Bag is aerodynamic in it's shape - important to ensure your luggage remains in place and also that you do not experience any unbalanced drag when riding.

To keep the bag in place it comes with built in retractable bungee cords with hooks that can be adjusted to fit your bike. To fasten the bag to your motorcycle simply pull out the cords and wrap them underneath the passenger seat / tail end of the bike.

The bag is made from Cordura® - an air-textured, high-tenacity nylon yarn from DuPont. The nylon provides a high degree of abrasion-resistance. All of the zippers on the tail bag are YKK zippers - perhaps the most trusted zipper manufacturer for over 70 years.

The bag comes with a 10 year warranty! If anything does go wrong with the bag and you can remember where you placed your receipt after that long - you deserve a new one!

As with all Roadgear's equipment the Jumbo Sport Tail Bag is made in the USA.

Trying to find a tail bag that has enough room for a full-face helmet that does not look like you are taking a 'steamer trunk' on your bike is difficult task. Rumi, the operator of Roadgear, is a sport's bike rider and knows his audience. Our wants of a slick looking, compact, aerodynamic, tailbag - are all met with the Jumbo Sport Tail Bag. Our one compliant is that we would have liked to see the shoulder strap as a standard feature opposed to an optional upgrade - however the grab handle is sufficient for carrying the bag. This bag is ideal for the sport / sport touring motorcycle rider who wants sufficient luggage space for a weekend getaway. For longer trips we would recommend combining the Jumbo Sport Tail Bag with the addition of saddle bags and a tank bag for a complete luggage system.
